The Lizard is a spectacular Peninsula with beautiful and stunning sea views, one of he most popular destinations and a location that his bound to bring inspiration to anyone who visits. It is said that many artists and writers have gathered their inspiration from The Lizard.
Designated as an area of outstanding beauty, the Lizard presents much of what is beautiful about Cornwall. It is at the southern tip of Cornwall and provides some of the most stunning views out to sea. There are some great looking cottages, fishing boats and harbours scattered around, all well presented. When we visited we were amazed by the cute line of cottages and the lighthouse, which I think is the most southerly point in England.

At the Lizard and by the lighthouse you there are telescopic mounts for you cast a view out to sea. You will also find a café and souvenir shop, and plenty of space for a picnic by the sea. We were lucky to catch a nice warm day, and managed to spend and enjoy the majority of our day in The Lizard. A great place to visit on any occasion.
